24. In the DC universe, Gotham, Metropolis, and New York City all exist relatively close to each other. NYC being the smallest of the three cities, its nickname is "The Cinderella City".

Everyone out here like no wonder there's crime and psychopaths it's new jersey, and sure there are places in new jersey like gotham, but its hilarious to me as someone who grew up in different suburbs in new jersey with some of the lowest crime rates probably anywhere in the country. Just chuckling at the thought that in that universe, I could be walking outside by myself at 2am to the wawa over 45 min away from my house completely safe while Batman is trying to deal with an arkham breakout less than an hour's drive away from me. Still makes a lot of sense though, I'm sure most people above the age of 18 still remembers the killer clown issue we had for a hot second lol.
