Básicamente, una publicación de mierda de 7 minutos: pelea conmigo, Guernsey, nunca robaría un automóvil, pero tomé prestadas algunas imágenes de Expedia HedleyleMaistre ITV Jersey

  1. Being born and raised in NEW JERSEY made me curious about your island of JERSEY. We don't have Morris Dancing here, but we do have lots of beaches and farms. And living here is more expensive than an all inclusive in Spain! We have a north/south divide which basically means that you either sound like you're from New York (north) or Philadelphia (south). And you're either a fan of the Giants or Jets football teams (north) or the Eagles (south).

  2. Jersey used to be a great place to live but now it’s just a cesspit of greed and corruption from the over stayed politicians who serve them selves and the equally corrupt and over paid civil servants that they bring in.

  3. Found 13th-c. records in Hampshire of Payn’s and Lempriere’s (obviously from Jersey) associated with the family of a Lawrence Payn that gave rise to at least 2 Mayors of Southampton in the 14th. They had owned a quay in London near the Customs House called Paynskey- that continued in the family into the 17th, belonging to “The Paynes of Fulham/Hammersmith/Petworth” who bore the arms belonging to Nicholas Payne of Helhoughton, Norfolk- whose son, John Payn (d. 1402), became Chief Butler of England and close friend of Geoffrey Chaucer (who worked at the Customs House) from whom he purchased wine for the King and Court.

All that to say I’ve finally discovered our mysterious Jersey connection. I now wish to confirm how they relate to the Paynel’s of Normandy, Domesday tenants in chief in Yorkshire.

Are there any recommended sources for the origins of early Jersey families? Apart from “An Armorial of Jersey” by James Bertrand Payn?

Thanks for sharing your encouraging video!

  4. Today I was having a conversation with my colleague regarding whether or not the people of Jersey were British or Jersian/Channel Islanders/Jerseymen.
I apologise to the people of Jersey for 'Jersian'

  5. I would like to call B to the S about the cost of flights to Jersey.
I have looked online and I can get a return flight from Manchester to Jersey from £24.00 to £39.00.
