Good video Ron… Yes, those Bull dog and I.T.E need to be removed. I.T.E (In Trouble Everywhere). Well done!
Looks like my entrance cable. One more reason to get it replaced soon. I'm glad I found your videos.

No AFCI or GFCI breakers, just because. ?
Jersey still on 2020 code, no outside disconect
Do they enforce gas bonding there ?
Curious – what is the blue insulated conductor for ?
They had a weird fettish back then with putting panels behind paneling…
1000v vde knipex cutters,get some
Did the inspector ok that service drop right next to the window? NEC 230.9?
It’s always good do extra for safe, but in this case don’t need expansion fitting.
PPE, HH,SG,HOT GLOVES!
Great job, inspector require disconnect box outside and surge arrester in Marlboro nj. It’s nec 2020 new code
Great job as always. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and expertise.
What the hells the blue wire?
Great job. Really appreciate the effort you put into this comprehensive video.
You do great work. I just passed my masters test here in Wisconsin and am currently waiting to get the actual credential before I start doing work on my own, coming from 10 years as a commercial electrician. Your videos are great and very informative. Thanks!
Wow, awesome neat job and very detailed. ?
Omg
Hey Ron nice job
How about PVC coated meter pans ?? Lol
Great job brother
Great work as always,Ron.Doing these services by yourself sure ain't easy.
Im an electrician from South Texas, great work as always Ron! I really appreciate all the videos you upload and how you explain the code. I follow a lot of pages on fb, instagram, tik tok, youtube.. by far your page is the best! Someday i will have my license and master.. just want to tell you thanks for all the knowledge you show us sparkys! Stay safe brother greatly appreciate everything you post
6 weeks busy is great. Hope you can relax soon. Love the way you explain your work and it’s easy to follow what you say. I’m a tile guy and just enjoy watching another tradesman do their work. Congrats on 10k subs.
I enjoy watching and appreciate your workmanship and attention to extra details. 40 years ago my Dad had me wrap the cloth service drop cable with electrical tape.
Congrats on your 10k milestone! Beautiful work as always. Sometimes ya gotta shake your head on customers decisions like not upgrading the service and lack of any surge protection ??♂️?♂️. Give them what they want ??. Glad you’re busy Ron! ?
Another great video, Ron! In a workmanlike manner is key and exemplified by your work. I feel we all should be constantly learning and improving. I discovered a technique from another channel I watch (strangely HVAC, but they do a lot of electrical work also) for making sure a connection is secure and doesn't arc or become loose. I tried it, and found it useful. When tightening a connector (lug, screw, etc), tighten it, back off, then retighten it. You will find the connector will retighten just a bit more. Just seems like a good idea. I hesitate to bring it up as you have been doing this for a long time, but I found it interesting. It just takes one time for something to arc or get hot as you know. Thoughts?
Beautiful presentation – you are an inspiration to me and appreciate allowing us to watch the process. Take care Ron and be safe out there. Ken
Hey Ron,
Great install, but has any inspector given you a hard time on the color coding of the electrode grounding conductor wire not being green or bare? I know in Article 250 the equipment grounding conductor if larger the 4awg can be reidentified. Just curious.
Ron you did a great job. As a option you can also run GEC together with service wires in the same conduit.
Ron, "Nice Tech Tip" Turning PVC pipe into PVC channel. (I'm stealing)
Gas Pipe bonding: Are your electrical supply companies and/or local inspectors looking for you to bond to gas pipes. In my area historically no.
Had a house we looked at ,it had push button with lots of scab wiring using a old main panel as a sub panel .It had other major issues we backed out after spending lot of money on a inspection fact we ran from it .
Another great video… thanks
So you have to work with live wires from street? On a ladder too. That would really scare me.
Always love your workmanlike manner Ron! Don't like your taste in sports teams, but it's fine, hopefully the owners of that home aren't FL Panther fans.
Work-man-like-manner. We all understand.
Hey Ron, is it necessary to install two ground rods? Isnt one ground rod and a water main bond sufficient? Or is it called for in the code
The pvc sheeths last about 7-10 years before it cracks and fails. I thought you are supposed to be 3’ from an opening with your anchor point?
Nice job as usual Ron I am guessing that replacing existing you don't need AFC. I breakers probably only need them on an upgrade
Why is one hot conductor on the Air Conditioning circuit breaker reidentified as Blue? I thought blue signified L3 in a three-phase system. No?
Man you are so good navigating old work and obstacles. I hate panels that are all framed in cupboards like that, but you adjusted it so the new panel is centered so the cover can come off! Heroes don't always wear capes.
Overloaded with work is a good thing right now, Ron
You right, need more information about multiwire branch circuits.
Thx from ??
Great video and well explained. Thanks.

Ron, Hope someday you get some cool sponsorships for this channel. Tx for the time invested in this, it helps a lot.
