I could see Hamiliton, Holtz or Foote and a 1st round pick.
Pretty sure he’s about to be announced as captain. No way he’s goi g anywhere
Never gunna happen. You don’t trade a guy like Quinn. He’s a player that comes along once every 20 years.
Cool, I want McDavid in a trade… doesn’t mean it’s gonna happen
When Hockeybuzz is the only source used, then it’s not true. A trade like this just doesn’t make sense for either team.
Too much redundancy on the blue line if they get Quinn. Wait for UFA and pick him up at a discount.
Canucks fan here. I would happily do Nemec, Mercer and a first for Quinn. Nemec is a stud.
Nemec, holtz and 1st probably
Wouldn’t shock me if Fitzy asked about Quinn but the cost would be really high and probably not doable with what I assume Vancouver would demand. The ask might be like Nemec, Mercer and a pick. To much to give. I like the top 6 Devs have right now. Dougie, Siegs, Marino, Hughes, Bahl, and Nemec is a good future to have.
Quinn doesn’t wanna say it too the media be everyone knows he wants to be in New Jersey it’s a chance to win a cup and when the nucks don’t make the playoffss again and sees his brothers making a run it’ll eat away at him knowing that or even to watch baby brother win a cup before you knowing you can probably be there with them and just add to a super star team for years to come it would be ridiculous if he doesn’t eventually become a devil in all seriousness…if he doesn’t get traded there he will 100% sign there no questions asked and idk if he wants to wait that long.
They can have dougie Hams 9 mil contract and maybe a prospect and 5th round pick
This trade will not happen anytime soon and likely would never and I don’t know why people talk about it so often. Quinn’s the best Canucks Dman ever and likely to be named the captain soon. They still want to be competitive. They’re not moving their best Dman. Then from the Devils perspective their D is going to be STACKED. Quinn’s not needed and especially not at the trade cost it’d be. Quinn ends up in NJ as a UFA or he doesn’t end up in NJ.
The owner of the site, Eklund, lies for clicks.
Helleybuyck for Holtz + pick would be something that can happen. NJD has no use for 7,85M offensive defenseman in the current time. If they got rid of Dougie and Luke, then yes, but adding additional similar players have diminishing returns since only one can shoot the puck at the time. Sharks already proved what can happen if you try two similar D in one team. Both had horrible season and the team dived.
Its gonna be a high asking price and jersey fans have to be really dumb if they think we wont try to re-sign him, or trade him to a team where he would sign an extension lmao ??????
No way Jose Cuervo.
Common consider it Vancouver can make a big ask and if the devils really want him (yes we do) we'll pay the big price !
Youd say no to lets say
2 first+ dressing ?
Quinn probably wont go to NJ till 25-26 when the VAN rebuild starts.
We really don’t need Quinn?
Ok let’s flip this. Would you trade Petey and a First round pick for the two Hughes Bros on Jersey?
Nemec holtz stillman bahl and 1st for quinn
for 5 1st round draft picks 5 years in a row, sure.
Devils can't have all 3 hughes brothers because we cant have caufield hughes zegras
He's still signed for 4 years… he ain't going anywhere
I mean it be Nemec a 1st round pick +
New Jersey doesn't need Quinn. This is a pipe dream. NJD is perfectly positioned as is and if they need to aquire anything down the road it will be a goalie.
If they want Quinn they would have to massively overpay. Not happening
The Devils have so many blue chip up and coming blue liners for literally zero dollars that they are not trading for a $7,850,000 player when they could possible use that money for a goalie. The only way this happens is if next year they were to trade Hamilton for Hughes 1-1 and Vancouver is 1 of the 10 teams Hamilton puts on his trade list….which, if he heard this rumour and he is smart, he will definitely exclude Vancouver. Lol.
