My daughter and I were talking about names (she will be 5 in December so quite smart already) and she said "Daddy there is a new girl at nursery called Paris but she can't be called that because Disney Land is there". We recently visited there so it still fresh in her mind and I'm still rocking the sunburn I think haha. Needless to say it became a very complicated conversation quickly for us both lol ! So after 10 minutes of talking in circles she wanted to know if there are other girls and boys names which are the same and cities and countries, turnes out there a lot more than I first thought …… and then she said something which soon had me eating my own words with a big slice of humble pie. "Is there someone named after our island called Jersey ?" I told her "no probably not", we searched Google and almost instantly found this video ?! So we watched it and what is really confused her was your accents. I had to explain that there are 2 places Jersey in the world. The very VERY little island where we live between England and France and another place in America called "New Jersey". Well an hour later after trying to explain geography, British and American history to a very confused 4 year old I was left exhaused. A great video and a great name and it created a learning opertunity for both me and my daughter
