  1. Your video is very helpful. But I wish to ask, you know about Guernsey Island Too? I have a job offered there and am looking for information like this about the place. Pls help

  2. Hello, I may be moving to jersey for agency work, for a few months from London. I am also an African woman, it’s wonderful to know that there are other Africans there too.

  3. I’ve been to Jersey back in 2019, I hated it, I stayed in the Grand Jersey Hotel. The hotel was class and the shooting ranges were cool. But besides that I hated the place.
The food from outside the hotel had this distinct taste and I did not like it and it was literally every food place that was outside the hotel had that same exact taste, we called it the “Jersey Taste.”
Once you leave St Helier you are literally in the middle of nowhere and if you’re on foot, GOOD LUCK to you. The locals are nice and helpful I won’t lie, they’re always ready to lend a helping hand and give you a lift back to St Helier and they’re so fascinated by us Londoners. But you will get bored of the place after a day or 2.
We booked a week visit to Jersey and after 2 days I wanted to go home. I literally spent most of the trip getting drunk on the beach and telling stories about life in London to the locals who approached me.
Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice island full of nice people but I personally couldn’t live there. Everyone advised us to come back in the summer as we went around April but to be honest I didn’t and still don’t see the point. You’re better off spending a week in Brighton but that’s just my experience.

  4. very informative. I will be visiting Jersey as tourist foreigner in a few months, and it is my first time. Currently, I have a tourist visa, my question, is it okay to have a direct flight to Jersey without going to any UK airport? For example from Dubai to Jersey direct flight.

  5. ?????? En las Islas del canal (Jersey y Guernsey) se hablan el inglés y francés, por la antigua ocupación francesa y estar cerca del país, en menor medida se habla el jerseyés su idioma nativo o originario, además de el guerneseyés, ambos idiomas normandos.

  7. Thanks for the usual video. As you get UK visa, does time spent in Jersey would count towards ILR for the UK ? For instance, if you live in Jersey for 2 years and then in UK and now want to apply for ILR?

  8. you probably don't understand what is french influance .Jersy people are brits and they have nothing to do with their own identify .If you move to Alsace you will see that local people abstain from French and Germans .

  9. Hi, Hope you are doing well , would you be able to guide me on the visa process for Jersey.
I am aware that the program is similar to UK visa program , however there are a few differences and not able to clearly map out a route of how to go about things.

  10. There is a young lady from Barbados who is married to a European who is on the same island as you and has a channel as well. Thank you for giving a very detailed information checklist. Can't wait to visit one day. ??

  11. Could you answer me How do i get the job from India ? What is the procedure ? Can they oppoint workers from other countries? How do i get driving license into england licences ?

  12. How weird is this. A lovely South African lady expounding the virtues of living in Jersey. Not sure how we are connected at all?
However nicely written and produced. Let us hope this puts people off as we have enough people here already.
We are overloaded and moving around the Island is getting uncomfortable.
The Island is 9 miles x 5 miles only.
There are more than enough Range Rovers. We don't need more.
