I’m from New Jersey. No I don’t believe I have any heritage that goes to the Jersey peoples but I think it’s super interesting to finally know where “Jersey” comes from. And… I feel connected in a way. ?

Norman French sounds nice. It is also the language that influenced English the most.

Normand is very vocalic and very diphitonguized.
Norman French is the Dialect that influenced English the most, and English also had a huge influence on the language of these islands as well because they are owned by Britain
Jersey looks like a mix between poorly pronounced English and French from my point of view, it still sounds nice
Interesting, 'casaque' sounds similar to 'cojoc' in romanian even though it's an Old Slavonic borrowing
