America's First Shark Attacks: Jersey Shore 1916
SHARKS, particularly GREAT WHITES, are widely thought of today as man-eaters akin to movie monsters– but how and why did these animals gain their infamy? The origins of America’s shark fear lie in the shallow waters of New Jersey’s coast, dating back to the bloodstained and panicked summer of 1916 when sharks struck terror into the public consciousness for the first time.

These are likely all BULLSHARK attacks, yea?
(Not the White-Pointers in cinema, which typically hunt in the open OCEAN, striking quickly from deep below, & are too big to be able to exist in a shallow beach).
14:30 edit: Ah there we go.

Jaws was and is my favorite movie, inspiring me to learn more about these creatures. I would love to hear more historical information on creatures of the earth's waters. Thank you for all you do. Deep sea oddities is and forever will be my favorite channel.
Nice, I like the talky videos
You betcha, I could easily sit through more like this.
Oooh, I liked this a lot

When I was a kid I saw a documentary about the 1916 shark attacks called Blood in The Water. It made me very scared of entering any body of water, even pools!
