Is City Diner Lowkey JERSEY's BEST DINER? Jersey City Diner Review

New Jersey has more diners than any other state per capita in the United States. Every native New Jerseyan will vouch for their favorite neighborhood diner as the best diner in New Jersey, but the names that are frequently mentioned as the best are Tops Diner in East Newark and Tick Tock Diner in Clifton. I have tried both and I found Tick Tock Diner pretty solid, although I have read many complaints about the Tick Tock Diner NYC location. Tops Diner really stood out to me though, and the Tops Diner Harrison diner was the best diner I have ever been to up until filming this video.

That was until I was recommended by many people to try Jersey City’s City Diner. City Diner, located in the Jersey City waterfront area, specifically the Exchange Place financial district part of the city, has been touted by Jersey City residents as the best spot in the garden state. While City Diner’s breakfast staples are all excellent, I hear it is their chicken and waffles and the famous City Diner baby back ribs that are the best items to get at this haunt.

Both Tick Tock Diner and City Diner are more famous, but is Tick Tock Diner worth all the lowkey hype? We will find out in this vid if it will overtake Tops Diner as my top diner in New Jersey!

  1. I'm like you UA, up here in Canada the "Double Double" (double cream, double sugar) is our most popular coffee but perhaps as I age into my late 30s for some reason just a well made, fresh, black coffee is all I crave more and more. Just because a taste is "bitter" doesn't mean "not good".

  2. Well, with a menu that big, you'd be lucky to find a couple of decent items. The people who rate these places have spent most of their lives eating super-processed garbage, so take their recommendations with caution.

  3. Remember when you said you don't like using a tripod because it takes up too much real estate and it stands out too much? Hear me out. Search "matrix Mount". It's an accessory that allows you to wear your phone like a necklace. You can pop it on and off because it's magnetic. You can get those shots of the food without compromising one of your hand. It won't hurt to take a look at it

  4. I must be the only person that does not understand the whole chicken and waffle thing, especially if it is on the bone. It is just too hard to eat, and I just plain do not understand the combination of Chicken and a waffle. I ordered it once and while the food was good I basically ate each item on its own because it makes no sense together. But, as they say, to each their own, eat what you like.
