This episode is a discussion of the navy’s involvement in what we do.

Ryannnnnnn? Where are you? AND WHERE CAN I SEE A VIDEO ABOUT IT?
Our powers in the government seem to allocate funds for illegal immigration than for these projects. Sad keep voting what is your thing ??♂️
ill be honest, the fact that our govt cant find any money to help with the preservation of our museum ships is infuriating. once I get my Christmas paycheck. I am absolutely donating some of it to you guys. keep up the good work
7:43 If you were worried about sticky fingers in sensitive areas, such chapel and such.
Why not shut doors weld and put a seal on it. I know locks are made for honest thieves.
Unfortunately, we tend to expect loyalty to history and damnit if you are the ass that removes it!
I saw the USS New Jersey sail into the Puget Sound, Washington State, back in the late 1960's, while I was stationed with NAS Whidbey Island Patrol Squadrons.. I was watching from Historic Fort Casey at the that time.
How much to be on board during the travel to dry dock
The contract saying the museum says as is/where is, should also say the navy has no more claim over taking pieces of equipment to fix other ships or to take the ship back. They either need to be giving a certain amount to every year to the maintenance of the vessel, or totally relinquish all claims to the vessel whatsoever. Imagine someone donates anything, with the stipulation that they can take it back whenever they want, the result will be that item will be minimally maintained.
Any way the public can see it depart?
One would think this would be an absolute perfect training exercise for the navy or naval reserves. The knowledge would be absolutely amazing. Figure the contractors will hire navy personnel to do some of the work anyways.
I feel like Ryan’s “the short answer but….” should be a pickup line.
Can you ask for volunteers from the navy? Sailors on leave perhaps?
Are those the ropes the navy used to hang sailors from the yardarm?
yes i donated, im memory of my grandpa US NAVY MM3 Oscar Lee Prigmore WWII 1924-1997❤❤❤
I have already donated to the Drydocking fund twice. Grew up interested in the Navy but when trying to apply to the US Naval Academy, our local Congressman wanted a huge sum of money for his recommendation – money that my parents could not afford. So I went to a public college and wound up with a family at a young age and never served in the military. My only visit the BB62 was in 2015. Now I look forward every day to Ryan's videos. They never disappoint.
Will there be tours on and or under the ship, during her dry docking.
During the dry docking period, are you going to "Ring" the hull rivets to see if any have become loose over time?
How significant (or insignificant) is the ad revenue of this channel to the upkeep of New Jersey?
I'm asking only to find out how much sense there is for me to sit through most ads instead of skipping them. ?
Donation made to keep this great ship afloat for generations to come. Hopefully get to come see her soon.
Money will pour in from the sewers to streets when and if "the real shit hits the fan"..
I bet the Coast Guard will be there in force just for the occasion of boating around the battleship while it is moving.
Are you required to have a harbor pilot on board while under tow or being maneuvered by tug boats?
Before watching the entire video, I would be extremely disappointed if the Navy didn't at least send some advisers from right across the river at NSWCCD Philadelphia. While I doubt they have many people with first-hand knowledge of Battleship operations, this is a HUGE opportunity to reverse some of the brain drain that's been happening for decades.
I realize that the US Navy is not providing financials support. But are they at least allowing access to documentation and prints so that the yard knows how to make repairs?
