11. I lived in South Jersey, not far from the Pine Barrens. Not sure if things have changed, but back in the early 70s, it was populated by the Jersey term "Pineys". No one wanted to go into the Pine Barrens as these people were heavily armed and actually shot at helicopters flying over their camps. Sad event, RIP and condolences to the families…
