  1. As a Jets fan, I would like to see the 48 jerseys as the third, and save the throwback for specialty nights. DO NOT promote those to the primary. I love the blue on blue, and for me as a Clevelander, it's way too much like the Browns going back to their old-school jerseys. You lost your team, got someone else's back, and now you want to put your classic look on it?! Hard pass!

  2. That Sharks jersey would look cooler teal. Never liked the Sharks in black.
That Flyers jersey would look cooler if the Flyers logo was orange.
That Rangers jersey would look better in white not beige (vintage white whatever).

  3. The Devils sweater is growing on me, but they blew a golden opportunity to give us an all black sweater with the classic logo in the center. Utica has it figured out.

  4. 10:35 This section raises a question for you Chris. With the Adidas era possibly ended with the breakdown of these designs, how are you, as a jersey enthusiast and analyst, feeling about the future of your channel, your passion and NHL designs as a whole with the Fanatics take-over?

I know there is close to nothing in terms of information when it comes to what Fanatics has in store for us, but what is your gut feeling about the transition? Your tone at the time stamp sounds a little mournful, hence the question.

  5. What are we thinking about these metallic helmets? Might age poorly but at the moment of writing, I am fully behind the little visual luxury!

(but get those rubber-looking mat helmets out of here please)

  6. Not usually a fan of two tone jerseys, but those Devils sweaters are hard. Black and Red really underlines the devilish colour scheme. It also allows the logo to shine. Hope they will look good on the ice

  7. I already liked those sharks jerseys, but the explanation behind them and unveiling video make them that much better. Although the agressive shark redesign was cool enough when it was introduced, it feels a bit oudated. The original shark for me is timeless, but it might just be nostaligia speaking. Seeing the team lean towards a more sutble yet very evocative shark design is welcome shift. Congrats to the design team

  8. Is it me or does it feel like the Islanders are going to switch back to navy blue soon? Their 2 RR were navy blue and so is their Stadium Series uniforms. Maybe when Fanatics takes over?

  9. I showed the SS jerseys to a group of kids who don't follow hockey and they all determined that the Islanders was the most boring of the bunch. So there you have it, from the mouths of babes.

  10. Is their really no other Hispanic player the sharks could have used? Raffi torres is without a doubt one of the dirtiest players in nhl history, a sane team would be embarrassed to promote him

  11. With the exception of the Isles, the Stadium Series jerseys are just great. The Devils jersey is simplistic yet classic, and i wonder what it would look like if the colours were flipped. As for the Rangers, it's only natural for that design to be adopted by them. By far the best design is for the Flyers.
I also happen to love that Cali Fin jersey. I actually wonder if that Chevy is indeed Raffi Torres' chosen ride.

  12. One thing I noticed and wanted to point out: you mention the simplified Adidas logo present in these Stadium jerseys, which we have only seen in the RR2.0.

I checked the store and the new logo also seem to be on this year’s All-Star Bieber jerseys.
