25 pensamientos sobre “New Jersey Devils 2023-24 Season Preview | Prediction

  1. This coming season, the New Jersey Devils will win the Metropolitan Division title with a 66-7-9 record, sweep the Florida Panthers in 4 games in the Eastern Conference 1st round, beat the Washington Capitals in 7 games in the Eastern Conference semifinals, beat the Toronto Maple Leafs in 6 games in the Eastern Conference finals, and beat the Seattle Kraken in 5 games to capture their 4th Stanley Cup.

  2. Seriously, I'm tired of people talking down V. He had over 30 wins in the regular season. No goalie has done that for NJ since Martin Brodeur. The boys will have to back up both goalies for success. ??

  3. There’s wayyyyyy too much weight being put on the mental side. “Oh how will they handle the pressure” sounds a lot like “they’ll lose to the Rangers because of experience”

  4. I feel like Luke Hughes should start off playing on the 2nd or 3rd pair.

He’s only played 5 games professionally it’ll be better if he eases his way in.

  5. The Devils are going to have one of the most ridiculous top 6 in the NHL next season.. What other team has a top six that put up 450+ points? Edmonton had 554, Tampa had 484 and Buffalo had 455.. Devils would be at 447 (Including Toffoli), with Hughes, Mercer and Nico still breaking their skill ceiling every season. Given projections on players.. we could potentially hit around 500-505 Points out of our top 6, with all of them hitting 70+ points

  6. with how strong they are prospect and team wise yet still aren’t everyone’s pick to win the cup for years to come just shows how important it is to draft a franchise goalie. Most of the best are drafted in the middle rounds! yet it’s impossible to trade for them. they will be good though, obviously. playoffs a different story
