How to Fold a Shirt in Under 2 Seconds

How to fold a shirt under 2 seconds. This step by step guide shows you how to fold a shirt very quickly. Works on all short sleeved tops including t-shirts and polo shirts. Great tutorial and easy to learn.

Someone taught me the technique last year, I’ve been told its a Japanese technique which dates back to the eighties, but who invented it and when exactly I don’t know.

  1. HAH got it first try. Can't believe no one has ever taught me this method IRL.

Even when I worked in retail, most employees used some sort of plastic jig that seemed unnecessary if they weren't doing it the normal inefficient way

  2. The way my jaw dropped!! I was like wait a minute…How did he do that ???
Two pinches,a fold and a flip and boom. Neatly folded top. It was like a magic trick. I will get it eventually with practice. Likely make my day, the moment I perfect this technique.

  3. I always comeback to this video because I can't ever fix the movements.
This is just like learning knots. For some people like me, even with this perfect explanation, it's still hard to do it properly. I got it just because of this video tho, after trying 5 times.

I'm not even retarded, I just get completely lost with 3D imagining, you know, like seeing a video of how to tie a specific type of knot or visualizing a rubix cube and the logic behind the movements. I can never keep this knowledge for long, I can only do it after learning and even if I do it a thousand times it flies away from my brain after some time, just like all the different types of rubix cubes I completed over the years. I can't even remember how to do a 3×3 now.

  4. For anyone stopping by, don't make the mistake I made for like 20 minutes:
Once you're ready to uncross your arms, make sure to take the fabric at Point C as well as the fabric you're already holding in your right hand from Point B. Missed it at first but as soon as I got that it worked like magic.

Hope this ends up helping someone
