1. Thank You. In my case, Jersey is definitely not somewhere I want to be taking a rather expensive Ferry ride to while I will be on holiday in Normandie soon. Your information is most welcome 🙂

  2. Loved visiting Jersey every year. Beautiful beaches, shops, and lots to do with the kids. Saying this the biggest down fall we experienced every time we travelled, especially on returning home was the rude, aggressive, airport security staff. I feel they really need to learn manners and take a much needed course in customer relations, considering it’s the tourism that helps keep the economy afloat.

  3. Sorry, but I couldn't stick with this video because of the continual advertising for Cosmos and the hotel. And then the YouTube ads kick in. It would have been nice to have had a summary of upcoming topics, then a delve into them to give more reason to keep watching. The video quality itself though is excellent. Nice and stable and sharp. And the edits don't result in shots that linger too long.

  4. I was in Jersey for only 3 months back in 2005. Working for a shop fitting company. Broke my wrists going to work flying down the hill from BNQ to bottom of the hill / roundabout…. Dirt old Black ice. Miss the Portuguese tarts jersey slappers ?

  5. Nice to see a tourists point of view. Hopefully didn't find it too expensive. Sadly we don't attract the younger crowd these days, the grockles all seem pretty old.

  6. I live in ireland from hong kong (many yrs ago, often wanna visit islands nearby, i ll start my journey in ireland 1st, then visit others incl Jersey n Guernsey , thx q

  7. My mother lived in jersey with my family until she met my dad in 1988 and decided to move to England we go there every year I like seeing my amazing cousins there and Elizabeth castle

  8. Thanks for this video, I lived in Jersey for 24 years and married a local girl. I loved living in Jersey and still have many friends on the Island and its been 7 years since my last visit. Jersey is a beautiful place and the restaurants are second to none and plenty to do if your into sport and water sports. We are retired and now live in Spain but will always have great memories of beautiful Jersey as it was a big part of our lives.

  9. Haha this came up in my recommended and I’m in it! Just after the 24 minute mark that’s me putting the sailing boat away! Love the vlog regardless of my cameo – defo subscribing for more ???

  10. you missed out on a few facts about things you filmed … like Jersey had the first British postbox's before mainland Britain. Corbiere Lighthouse was the first concrete one built in the British Isles and the last siege of the English Civil War was at Elizabeth Castle.

  11. Weather in jersey in the winter is pretty bad, cold, 3, 6 degrees, rainy most of the time and windy, sometimes very windy. Only in the summer is nice and you can go out and enjoy the place. It's hotter than it is in The UK, unfortunately only for 2, 3 months, the rest is just bad.

  12. I lived in Jersey from 1984 to 1995 and always swore i would one day go back, after seeing your visit and listening to your excellent narration i have just booked a week in the Pomme D'or. Thank you for reminding me what a beautiful place Jersey is.

  13. Love the video Rich, thanks for sharing, a perfect example of the Jersey we like to call Curiously Brit…(ish), however, we’ll take your new slogan, ‘There’s more to Jersey than Bergerac!’ ?. Come and stay more and explore more soon, the seafood risotto will be waiting!
