Biggest Waves in New Jersey History

Best ever day in Jersey?? Definitely in the conversation. One claim we are totally comfortable throwing around was definitely the biggest surf I’ve ever seen here. Some of the heaviest too. While there definitely saw empty waves as big and perfect as you can ask for at a beach break it was definitely a challenge with the size of the waves, the outgoing tide all day and the 14 sec period. None the less, having the rare opportunity to experience energy like that so close to home made for a really memorable day. Stoked to get after with a good crew of young east coast chargers!

  1. Wtfff is this … Incredible. Respect this crazy people. I surf winter in Uruguay and its challenging when its 6 feet , duck dives, 5/4, boots, gloves, …….. But this, gnarly af. 15+ ft probs? Monster closeouts barrels, lmfao this ppl is crazy. Cheers

  2. I've surfed all over in NJ, I've never seen anything like this. As a matter of fact we used to sometimes head there whenever there was a storm and heard the waves were bigger. I wonder where this is

  3. Balls, nothing but balls. Good for the guys who put everything out there and caught some memorable waves. In my mind I was out there also just imagining that bottom carve, such force. AHHHHHHHHH

  4. Wow! What beach is this? One incredible video. And that wave of at the end everyone's talking about was so cool especially the way you pop out right at the end of it. Thanks for sharing!
