27. As a Lions fan I have so much respect for what Stafford did when he was here. I was glad to see him win a Superbowl with the Rams (wish he could have done it here). People who say “Ban Stafford Jerseys” shouldn’t be sports fans. They are not mature enough to handle moments like this. They don’t know true sportsmanship. Games are supposed to be fun and entertaining, not win at all costs and to hell with everyone else. I’ll be rooting for my Lions but, should the Rams win, sure I’ll be disappointed for a while but I can then find something else to root for. Maybe Matthew Stafford. Maybe another story that deserves attention. Lighten up. Yes, there are going to be teams we don’t like as much (Eagles and Dallas, for me) but you can be passionate about a team and still find something worthwhile if you truly love the sport and simply appreciate good plays and athleticism.
