  1. True Magic fans know how much fun and excitement those mid-90’s teams brought to not just Orlando and central Florida, but the entire NBA. Thanks for the memories Shaq and Penny. I get a tear thinking back on those teams and what could’ve been if Shaq stayed and Penny was healthy.

  2. He’s top 5 argue with ya momma, yall don’t wanna give it to him cuz he’s a light skin in under armours shooting threes lol… HES SWEATY it’s ok to admit it old heads lol

  3. If Kobe got a statue whom to be honest was Shaq's side kick, Orlando retiring the jersey is what it is. Give KD a statue when he's done he had 2 finals mvps just like Kobe and didn't shoot 6-24 in game 7 of the FINALS for 1 of the 2 awards. Sorry Kobe is incredibly overrated. Soon as Shaq left LA kobe misses the playoffs, and he was in his mid 20's. Jordan, LeBron, Magic, Larry, IVERSON in their primes were enough by themselves to at least see the playoffs. Most missed shots in NBA history, kobe. He's just for some odd reason and emotional favorite for fans.

  4. Nah I was in Orlando he made a name for himself in Orlando. He took us to the our first playoffs. He used to be in Firestone club with us he was always a down to earth person. It’s in Orlando where I was amazed at shaq.

  5. As a Floridian born and raised in the O, Shaq helped make Orlando a city to be proud of. Yes he left for LA but if you know the truth behind why, the Magic are doing him right in this regard. Congrats to the big man! Go Magic ?

  6. People forget orlando was the last team to beat LeBron in the ecf finals after that he never lost in the conference finals the magic were that good and dwights jersey should be next 8 yrs of greatness the magic were a title contender when d12 was there

  7. He put them on the map they closed the boston garden beat jordan in a series beat reggie 2 conference finals and a nba finals appearance when you talks 90s sports iconic jerseys the orlando magic have to be in the conversation

  8. I love shaq hes a great person. Hes what all celebrities should be like. In my opinion the most dominant player of all time. But he does not deserve his number retired in Orlando. He didnt do enough in his 4 years there.
